Kansas Activities at BIO 2007

BIO 2007 SPRING TRAINING
KansasBio will host pre-BIO 2007 meeting on April 26 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Kansas Bioscience Authority offices, 25501 West Valley Parkway in Olathe, for Kansas Delegates. The
meeting is important as it will assist the Kansas Delegation in understanding the mechanics of the show, provide important housekeeping information and ensure sponsors and Delegates receive all relevant and updated information about Kansas activities prior to the convention.

WELCOME TO BIO
KansasBio is planning a “Welcome to BIO Warm-Up” get-together in Boston on Sunday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hotel Commonwealth, 500 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, for sponsors and Kansas Delegates to check-in, receive their information packets and ask questions.

MEDIA MORNINGS
KansasBio has partnered with the Kansas Agricultural Network, the state's largest radio network, to provide listeners across Kansas up to the minute information from BIO 2007. In addition, we
will be inviting the national and international media at BIO to attend this KansasBio feature and spread our industry news to the world. The Kansas Agriculture Network will conduct exclusive interviews with leaders, bioscience executives and scientists to showcase Kansas’ growing bioscience industry. Media Mornings will begin in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center at the Kansas Pavilion, #2621 at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 7 and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8. Kansas Delegates are welcome to attend and listen to the thought leaders and bioscience executives talk about growing the biosciences in Kansas.

KANSAS Bioscience Industry Growth Awards Reception
KansasBio is hosting a cocktail reception and industry awards’ ceremony Monday, May 7 at theSeaport Elite, Commonwealth Pier at the Seaport World Trade Center. This very intimate and exclusive reception will be an opportunity for the Kansas Delegation to talk with Kansas “Big Thinkers,” public officials and bioscience executives; discuss ways on how to consistently tell the world where Kansas has strengths, opportunities and a path for growth and celebrate the industry members that are starting, expanding and locating in Kansas.
