On August 19, 2008 IdentiGEN announced that Nature’s Premium Pork became the first fresh pork producer in the North America to employ IdentiGEN's DNA TraceBack® system to provide reliable and accurate traceability back to the farm where the animals were raised. Nature's Premium Pork with the DNA TraceBack seal is being initially introduced through retail outlets in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Boston, greater New York and Santa Cruz.  It is also available through selected foodservice distributors nationwide.
