We’ve taken a hard look at what we do well, what others are doing, and how we can further leverage the impact we have on the industry’s growth and expansion in Kansas. More...

KTEC sponsored the lunch and Tracy Taylor, CEO & President of KTEC, shared information about their programs. Input Needed for Legislative Agenda
During the 2007 KansasBio Annual Meeting, the board of directors unanimously passed a resolution for KansasBio to become involved with legislative advocacy. This is a critical step forward for the organization, providing it with another important tool to serve as the voice of the bioscience industry in Kansas. In as much, KansasBio will once again distribute a survey to collect your insight for the development of its policy positions and for the formation of a legislative agenda. In 2008 KansasBio's focus will be on state policy, however, it will also begin to collect your input on national issues as well with the goal of developing a congressional agenda in 2009.
KansasBio will also utilize the survey instrument to gauge your interest in other state programs which are being discussed. The goal with the survey instrument is to garner, directly from the industry, your insight, your concerns, your needs. Going forward KansasBio will break the survey into two parts, making it a bi-annual survey, one for policy, one for industry updates. This year they will be combined. Please take 15 minutes to answer the survey. Without your input our voice will be incomplete!!
