Education & Training

As KansasBio goes through its formative process, an important function of the organization will be to raise awareness about the biosciences by providing ongoing opportunities for education and training. These opportunities will focus not only on our membership, but the public and the youngest members of the Kansas bioscience community – our K-12 science students. In addition to the regular presentations and seminars currently being planned by the organization, KansasBio is looking for ways to impact bioscience education and training that include supporting work force development programs, establishing KansasBio student chapters at state and private universities, and working with educators to develop K-12 bioscience curriculum. If you are interested in participating in any of these efforts, please contact KansasBio and share your ideas.

Educational Events
A key component of the KansasBio educational program will be regular presentations and seminars on relevant and timely topics within the bioscience industry. This will include both standalone events and co-sponsored opportunities with existing organizations. See upcoming events in News & Events.
