Graduate Student Research Summit

Graduate students from across the state will prepare and present displays of their research work for public viewing in the state Capitol rotunda, March 8, from 10am-2pm. KansasBio will be awarding scholarships, which are underwritten by our members including, Labconco and Bayer Crop Science. The presentations will be judged that day by a PhD panel and the scholarships will be awarded at noon. Be there to see the great work from our fine University Graduate Students.

Kansas is currently home to seven ethanol plants that use 65 million bushels of corn and grain sorghum to produce 170 million gallons of ethanol per year. The state is reviewing 27 additional sites for further expansion of the industry.
